Tim Demchak, PhD, LAT, ATC

Timothy J. Demchak is a professor of applied medicine and rehabilitation at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. He is also the founder, director, and head clinician of the Athletic Training Service at the Wabash Valley Heath Center in Indiana. Dr. Demchak earned his doctorate in exercise physiology from Ohio State University in Columbus. He also attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where he earned a master of science degree in biomechanics and a bachelor of science degree from Manchester University in Indiana. Dr. Demchak has been a certified athletic trainer since 1994 and has 22 published manuscripts and delivered 77 peer-reviewed presentations. His primary area of research is therapeutic interventions, with a current focus on the use of photobiomodulation on painful issues including fibromyalgia, migraine, and trigeminal neuralgia. Dr. Demchak serves on the Board for the North American Association of Photobiomodulation Therapy.
